7 DAY KRUGER AND VICTORIA FALLS, ZAMBIA

Mesmerize in South Africa’s most prized wilds of Greater Kruger and later experience a stimulating break at Victoria Falls.

Day 1: Greater Kruger National Park

Visitors are met upon arrival at O R Tambo International Airport and are guided in conveying to a charter flight headed for the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. On arriving at Sabi Sand in the Greater Kruger, guests will be checked in at Arathusa Safari Lodge and enjoy an afternoon of relaxation after which you commence on first safari game drive. With the sunset hitting its twilight, the nocturnes vacate their daytime shells and predators trail susceptible victims on nightfall- a really arousing moment to be on a game drive.

Day  2: Greater Kruger National Park

This day of your Exclusive Sabi Sand safari will commence soon after sunrise, with coffee and snacks, before proceeding into the wild on an open 4×4 safari vehicle. The morning game drive of about three hours returns to camp for a late breakfast. Visitors are then given some time for to rest before relishing in lunch and then afterwards guests can experience a bush walk guided by an armed ranger. The late afternoon game drive is once undertaken to seek out the Big Five and the several antelope species that adorn the wilderness in this part of Africa.

Day 3 : Greater Kruger National Park

The constantly switching auras of this territory will seize your emotions, as the day is again dedicated to searching this wilderness area from specially adapted open 4×4 safari vehicle or on foot during the voluntary bush walk. Visitors are then given some time for to rest before relishing in lunch and then afterwards a late afternoon game drive to seek out the Big Five and the several antelope species that adorn the wilderness in this part of Africa. Abundant pleasure may be found in observing these animals as they go about their day to day customs.

Day 4: Pretoria

A last morning game drive in this wilderness area is followed by a charter flight to Johannesburg, where visitors are met and transferred to their hotel in Pretoria. The rest of the day is spent in relaxation and in anticipation of the flight to Victoria Falls the next day.

Day 5 : Livingstone

Visitors are transferred to O R Tambo International Airport for a flight to the town of Livingstone, which is set on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River where the mighty Victoria Falls occur. After some time in leisure, guests enjoy a late afternoon sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Enjoying an African sunset while viewing game come down to the water’s edge for a late afternoon drink is sure to be an experience reminisced for a lifetime. Hippo sightings are particularly familiar on the cruise and sometimes elephant will swim across the Zambezi as they move between Zimbabwe and Zambia and their favourite feeding areas. After the sunset cruise, guests are transferred back to their hotel.

Day 6 : Livingstone

The morning is dvoted to visiting the Victoria Falls section of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The name translates to ‘the smoke that thunders’, which is the name the locals have given to the Victoria Falls. The sanctuary affords incredible views of the falls and, during the dry season, guests may walk across to Livingstone Island for a heart-stopping peek over the gorge. There is also an African curio market at the Falls’ entrance and visitors may take some time to view a variety arts and crafts on display before returning to their accommodations along the Zambezi riverfront. The afternoon is spent at leisure, relaxing in these tranquil surroundings.

Day 7 : Departure

A last glimpse of the mist rising in the distance from the thundering Victoria Falls is followed by breakfast, after which visitors are transferred to Livingstone Airport for a return flight to Johannesburg, where your Kruger and Victoria Falls safari ends. Guests are met on arrival in Johannesburg and are assisted with their check-in to a connecting flight or are transferred to any convenient location in Johannesburg or Pretoria.
