We spell out concerns and responses that you may have prepared yourself before proceeding to book your tour or safari with tourAfrika. STEP 1: QUOTATION
If one of our services we render appeals to you or would like us to forward you a custom-made tour or safari centered on your needs, you should complete the request form found on our website on the Contact Us page or forward us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org We will then send you an official, no-obligation quotation based on your request shortly after receiving your inquiry.
STEP 2: APPROVAL OF tourAfrika QUOTATION
In our communication with you, we may put forward several suggestions till you are satisfied with the specifics presented in our quote. On review of information submitted, you may forward us an e-mail validating that you are satisfied with the quotation and would like to proceed to book our services.
STEP 3: BOOKING CONFIRMATION & DEPOSIT
tourAfrika will then forward you a Booking Confirmation which will need to be signed and returned to our office via e-mail. When the signed booking form has been acknowledged by our office, all required accommodation and accompanying auxiliary services will be confirmed. The Booking Confirmation serves as written proof of the services you have purchased from tourAfrika. You will not receive any documents via physical mail.
Once we have received the signed Booking Confirmation, we will send you an invoice in order for you to make the 30% deposit payment by credit card or by completing a draft transfer directly to our bank account (EFT). We accept MASTERCARDS, VISA and AMEX credit cards. Our banking details will be specified on the Invoice.
STEP 4: FINAL PAYMENT
The final payment for your safari or tour is required 60 days prior to the commencing date of the safari or tour. You will make the final payment of the balance by completing a draft transfer directly to our bank account through Electronic Funds Transfer.
STEP 5: ARRIVAL IN AFRICA
On arrival in Africa, you will be welcomed at the airport by a tourAfrika representative, so please look for a sign with your name or agreed pseudo name boldly written on it. In all cases the name of tourAfrika representative and his cell number are shared with you before heading-off to our shores. In the case you have trouble in locating your representative, the company contact numbers will be provided on the documents forwarded to you, and you may proceed to contact our Operations Office or 24hour number provided. Our representative will share with a file containing all the documentation forwarded to you via e-mail, as well as all required vouchers, travel maps and supplementary data necessary for your travels.
From here and going forward you are in the custodian of a highly skilled guide if you have booked a guided safari or tour. If you have booked a self-drive, the representative will review the itinerary and route with you before the transfer to the hotel.

tourAfrika is a member of the South African Tourism Services Association (SATSA), a leading industry organization devoted to promoting ethical and sustainable tourism in South Africa
tourAfrika is bonded member of SATSA, any deposit is protected in the event of insolvency.
tourAfrika is not a travel agent. We operate all of the tours we offer, so you will be dealing directly with the company who will be responsible for all of the physical aspects surrounding your safari or tour, i.e. all reservations, entrance fees, guides, transportation, regional flights etc. We are based in South Africa and have extensive network in Southern Africa acquired through working and living in most Southern African countries. In most cases, we will be able to provide better advice to potential travelers than some agents who have never even been to Southern Africa.
