You are met at any location convenient to you in Johannesburg or Pretoria and shuttle transferred to O R Tambo International for a flight to Victoria Falls, where they will be met on arrival by our tourAfrika guide. Firstly, we visit the Victoria Falls, one of the world’s seven natural wonders, before traveling on to Chobe in Botswana. The park is named after this majestic river that protects 10.700 km² of the northern Kalahari Desert, providing ensuing wilderness and a game density that is steadily remarkable. Famed for its massive elephant populations, big herds of buffalo and incredible birdlife. Visitors spend two nights at Chobe Chilwero on a full board basis. Two game activities are performed daily by experienced rangers and trackers. The game activities comprise of open four-wheel game drives in the park or enjoying water-based game viewing from a boat on the Chobe River.

A final morning safari encounter in Chobe is followed by a brief flight to Kings Pool, located in the 125 000 ha Linyanti Reserve to the north of the Okavango Delta. This private game reserve is renowned for its unfenced border with the Chobe Park and the abundance of free-roaming elephant. Other spectacular wildlife that can be spotted in Linyanti includes Cape buffalo, eland, giraffe, hippo, impala and zebra. In the afternoon you will embark on your first safari activity. Visitors spend three nights at Kings Pool with two game activities performed ever day by lodge-based rangers and trackers. The Linyanti area is not as famous as the Okavango, however it offers brilliant game viewing in one of continent’s genuinely natural settlements.

After a morning game activity in Linyanti we take a brief flight to Mombo Camp, a sumptuous and responsibly-luxurious camp in the midst of the Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta, one of the most incredible wilderness sanctuaries in Africa, is 15 000 square kilometres of water channels, lagoons and islands. Each year, floodwaters flow from the central African highlands over 1 000 km away into the Delta to create this wondrous wetland within a desert. It is home to large numbers of wildlife from common mammals and birdlife to those that are not often seen elsewhere, such as sitatunga, wild dog, and wattled crane. View elephant and hippo floundering amid the reed beds and seek out for predators from the lofty seats of a four-wheel drive safari vehicle. Visitors spend three nights at Mombo on a full board basis with two safari activities conducted every daily by your experienced ranger.
