Visitors will be met by tourAfrika representative upon arrival at O R Tambo International in Johannesburg and assisted with a transfer to a flight bound for Livingstone – the kick-off point of the 10 Day Vic Falls, Zambia and Botswana Honeymoon. Visitors are met at Livingstone Airport and are transferred to River Club Lodge on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.
At this juncture visitors relish in extravagance that reminds one of a bygone era in a very serene environment. Three nights are spent at this fine-looking and quiet lodge where visitors become in touch with the wilderness of Africa on game drives, nature trails, boat cruises and island walks. A visit it is made to the Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
The River Club is just 18 kms upstream from the renowned Victoria Falls and town of Livingstone, in a tranquil oasis, are eleven spacious suites individually nestled within the tree line overlooking a sweeping bend of the mighty Zambezi River. From their elevated positions, the suites are perfectly situated to gaze across the river to the Zambezi National Park on the opposite bank, home to an array of wildlife and birds in an area of abundant natural beauty. As the lodge is located opposite Zimbabwe’s Zambezi National Park, hippos and elephants may be seen (and heard) as they go about their daily lives. Visitors spend three nights at River Club on a full board basis. Two activities are performed daily.

The honeymooners enjoy a hearty breakfast served outside, after which they are transferred to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. The duration of the transfer is approximately two hours.
The next three evenings are spent at the luxurious Chobe Chilwero, known for its remarkable views of the Chobe National Park. The activities interchange between water-based game viewing from a boat and land-based open four-wheel game drives and on the Chobe River. Flout and Fauna are bountiful of different areas in one park. When the dry season begins, large herds of elephant and buffalo seek the permanent waters of the Chobe and Linyanti Rivers. Imagine thousands of them, coming sometimes all the way from Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park. The park offers some of the best game viewing in Africa.

Following breakfast, the honeymoon couple will fly to the Okavango Delta from a nearby airstrip. The accommodation for the next three nights is Belmond Eagle Island Lodge. The lodge brings timeless luxury to the Botswana wetlands. High-ceilinged tented rooms flood with light; each has a plunge pool and oversized bed with views of the Delta. Get closer to the wildlife of this UNESCO World Heritage Site—silently glide past hippos in a traditional canoe as fish eagles soar overhead. Eagle Island is truly one of the most romantic locations in Southern Africa.
Depending on the water levels in the Okavango Delta, activities vary from mokoro excursions, motorised boat trips, game drives in open safari vehicles or walking safaris. The Okavango Delta is famous for its aquatic wildlife and diversity of birds so make the most of this experience. The beautiful Okavango Delta is an inland waterway with a most unusual environment comprising of diverse habitats, where many species of mammals, birds and fish reside. Elephant, hippo and crocodile occur in abundance in the delta’s reed-lined waterways. Learn more about this unique ecosystem and the creatures that dwell within while in the company of the lodge’s skilled trackers and rangers.

After your early morning game activity, you will be transferred by light charter aircraft to Maun for a connecting flight to Johannesburg. Visitors are met by tourAfrika representative upon arrival at O R Tambo International Airport and shuttle transferred to any location convenient to you in Johannesburg or Pretoria after an impressive Okavango Delta safari after an unforgettable 10 Day Vic Falls and Botswana Honeymoon.
